KEMETORY ("we", "our") is a social media publishing service that helps you plan, write, and publish content to Instagram and Facebook. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can have it deleted.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
- Connected social accounts — when you connect Instagram or Facebook business accounts through Meta, we store the account identifiers and access tokens Meta issues so we can publish on your behalf, along with account metadata (username, profile picture, follower counts) and content insights provided by Meta's APIs.
- Your content — photos, videos, captions, and schedules you upload or create in the app.
- Usage and device information — sign-in history (browser, operating system, approximate time) used for account security, and technical logs needed to operate the service.
How we use your information
- To provide the service: scheduling, generating captions, and publishing content to the social accounts you connected.
- To secure your account (sign-in history, session management).
- To send you service emails such as password resets and verification codes.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where your data lives
Application data is hosted on Railway and media files are stored in Cloudflare R2. Transactional email is delivered through MailerSend. Caption generation uses an AI provider that processes the text and media you submit for that purpose. Data from Meta platforms is handled in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms and is never shared with third parties beyond the processing described here.
Data retention and deletion
Content you delete in the app (posts, images, campaigns) is permanently removed from our storage at the time of deletion. If you want your entire account and all associated data deleted — including data obtained from Meta platforms — contact us at omustafa2016@icloud.com and we will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm to you by email. Disconnecting a social account from KEMETORY also invalidates the stored access tokens for that account.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your data at any time using the contact below.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and the date above.
